The “E-Computação – Associação para o Ensino da Computação), is a non-profit association that has its scope of include a science computation course in the portuguese pedagogic curricula. By accessing this website the user is accepting the terms and conditions described below.

This website is only accessed by its domain www.ensico.pt  for each E-computação is responsible. To access and navigate this website there will not be needed a login or any kind of registration process. It will only be required a name and e-mail contact in case the user wants to send a private message over the “Contact” page.

Revision and changes to Terms & Conditions

E-Computação is responsible for and has the right to alter this privacy policy as it sees it needed. Any change or update to this privacy policy will be published on the website. The users must regularly consult any changes on the information provided.

Download or copy of contents

It is allowed to download any material available with a download option on the website. Any material available for download is property of E- computação or its partners so that any change or misappropriation of the contents will be reported to the competent authorities. If the user wants to copy or print any content provided on the E- Computação website it must be asked for permission.

E-Computação only provides hyperlinks for websites or platforms of its partners or collaborative institutions or enterprises for reference of support in specific events and services presented. E-Computação has committed to maintaining and monitored that this website is available for access at any time, although it is not responsible for any technical malfunction out of its expertise. In case the website is down and not available, E-Computação commits to take as little time as possible to fix the issue. For any planned intervention, the website will present a notice.

ABOUT THIS PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy and data protection policy hereinafter referred to as “Privacy Policy”, describes the general terms of privacy and processing of the personal data collected as user of E-Computação webpage www.ensico.pt , according to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – GDPR.

In E-Computação, our commitment is to work towards the goal of complete privacy, confidentiality and transparency in the way we manage personal data.

The present information concerns the processing of personal data of users of E-Computação website www.ensico.pt  among other purposes, depending on independent individual consent given, the development and promotion of our services according to the specific needs of the users.

To establish its activities, E-Computação can ask for the following data:

Name, address, phone number, e-mail, educational qualifications, city, country, ID number, profession, work position, workplace, institution of studies, student card number, photo; bank account number, for financial transactions concerning the activities and events registered; other data concerning the enrollment in any activity promoted by E-Computação.

E-Computação can as well collect image and sound of its activities to document its events and further promote it in its media channels. Anyone has the right of rejecting this use of this specific data and can do so reaching out to the organization members or directly with the DPO.

E-Computação will use your contacts to inform you about its services and events, specifically:

  • Date and place of occurrence;
  • Training program;
  • Technical support;
  • Fraud prevention and detection.

E-Computação can still send you messages or promotional e-mails and newsletters, in the assurance that the first contact will depend on prior permission by the data subject. This option of processing can also be rejected anytime by means described in section 1 “Data Protection Officer”.

The processing of personal data is exclusively on the scope of the tasks of authorized personnel from E-Computação or by any other external part, after assuring all the confidentiality agreements and obligations.

 E-Computação will manage collected personal data according with any interantional and national law concerning personal data collection. Users under 18 years old need to collect parental advisory approval to insert any personal data.

3. Data retention period

All the personal data collected will be kept for a period of 5 years as long as there is still consent by the data subject.
After this period of retention, E-Computação will delete the data or anonymize it when it can be kept for its original purpose.

  • Correct or alter its personal data;
  • Its personal data to be deleted;
